AOLITE’s Innovative Mobile Charging Solution Will Transform Off-Grid Work

Oct 14, 2026 0

AOLITE is launching a new solution to provide off-grid power for compact electric machines and other electrical equipment at job sites. The AOLITE PU47 is a 47 kWh mobile energy storage power supply that will be launched in Europe first.

Access to charging is one of the main challenges that must be solved to make the transition to electric vehicles easier. The AOLITE PU47 mobile energy storage power supply is compact, easy to transport, and easy to use. It can charge everything from AOLITE compact electric machines to other electrical equipment on site, such as compact electric machines from other brands and equipment such as drills and saws.

The PU47 can be recharged from the grid through a maximum 22 kW three-phase 380 V AC input (European-standard cable input), helping to avoid peak demand costs. When grid capacity is limited, charging power can be reduced, or an optional 220 V mains/solar system can be used for slow charging. It also comes standard with a European-standard CCS2 charging inlet, allowing the PU47 to be recharged at public European-standard DC charging stations. AOLITE compact electric machines can be fast-charged using the integrated 40 kW DC fast charger, or powered via the AC output. The AC output power is 22 kW (one three-phase 380 V/32 A circuit, or three single-phase 220 V/16 A circuits), and can also be used to charge non-AOLITE compact electric machines and other electrical equipment.

Kang Dong, Product Manager for AOLITE Charging Solutions, said: “Thanks to the integrated 40 kW DC fast charger, the PU47 can provide on-site fast charging for AOLITE compact electric construction machines. When fully charged, the PU47 can fast-charge a small wheel loader 1–2 times, or a small excavator 2–3 times; the actual number depends on the machine’s battery capacity and depth of discharge. It supports simultaneous AC/DC charging and discharging as well as charging while discharging, so customers can charge their machines quickly and safely while using electricity as cost-effectively as possible. The machines will be ready again when needed, maximizing on-site productivity. Being able to use the PU47 to charge other electrical equipment is an added benefit.”

The AOLITE PU47 mobile energy storage power supply weighs approximately 700 kg and measures 1390 × 1028 × 1020 mm, making it suitable for both mobile and stationary use. It has lifting holes at the four top corners and forklift pockets at the bottom. It can be transported by forklift or lifting equipment, making it easy to deploy to wherever the machines are on site. Manual handling by hand is strictly prohibited.

The AOLITE PU47 mobile energy storage power supply is available in Europe through AOLITE and authorized dealers (subject to market availability).

A Complete Electric Mobility Solution

The AOLITE PU47 is the latest addition to AOLITE’s charging solutions for its growing range of electric machines and is a clear sign of its commitment to providing customers with complete solutions. More solutions are under development.

When establishing fossil-free job sites, electric machines are one part of the puzzle. Another is a reliable charging solution. The power unit is AOLITE’s next step toward decarbonizing the construction industry, helping customers comply with environmental regulations while ensuring a stable and efficient power supply so they can get the job done.
